A former Holby City star is set to appear at a Leicestershire choir’ s annual celebrity Christmas concert. Guy Henry, widely known for his role as Henrik Hanssen, will star alongside the Harborough Singers for its concert this Saturday (December 21). Guy will perform the readings for the singers’ “extraordinarily popular” evening of festive words and music, held in St Dionysius Church, Market Harborough .

The group said the evening was known equally for its “sensational roof-raising choir and audience carols”, as well as its “exquisitely beautiful singers-only moments”, and the celebrity readings that “veer from thought-provoking to downright hysterical in a moment”. Alongside Holby City, Guy has also starred in blockbuster franchises such as Harry Potter - where he played death eater Pius Thicknesse in the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. He also took on the role of Grand Moff Tarkin in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - cast for his resemblance to the late Peter Cushing.
