Jon Kay let slip some big news on BBC Breakfast this mornng, leaving Sally Nugent horrified. Sally and Jon were back at the helm of the BBC show on Tuesday, where they chatted about the biggest news of the day and crossed over to Carol Kirkwood for the weather. Later, Nina Warhurst joined them in the studio to discuss rogue traders.

As they introduced Nina to the show for her segment, Jon left his co-star stunned when he revealed to Sally: "Nina's trying to make me do a half marathon with her," as Sally's face dropped. "Can't believe you've just mentioned that on air. You've said it on the television now which means you'll have to do it!" she said, as Jon said: "I said trying to persuade me not that I'd do it.

.." As Jon introduced Nina's rogue traders segment, Sally could be seen mouthing to Nina that there was no way Jon was going to do it.

"Are you doubting me?" Jon asked. Nina then added: "I'm using reverse psychology Sally. If I say he can't do the half marathon, then he'll say he is," as Sally added: "I'm worried about him, I don't think he should do it!" This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated.
