BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty warned viewers: “It’s too mucb,” during a complicated science segment. Initially worried she was running out of time, Naga wanted to read out an interesting newspaper article about black holes – putting off Matt Taylor’s weather segment to do so. She explained: “I just want to scramble your head.

I think Matt would maybe...

” She then turned to the meteorologist to ask: “Have you ever heard of plasma jets blasting out of a black hole?” Matt admitted: “I think so. I don’t know much about them!” Giggling, Naga explained: “So they’ve been discovered by astronomers, right, and these are the largest ever seen. They measure – and this is where my head is scrambled – 23million lightyears from end to end.

That distance would cross 114 Milky Way galaxies. “Now at 19 minutes past six in the morning, it’s just a little bit too much,” Naga admitted, as Matt echoed: “It is far too much!” This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated.
