Naga Munchetty was forced to step in to correct her co-star on Saturday Morning. BBC Breakfast kicks off on Saturday morning from 6am , with Charlie Stayt and Naga at the helm of the show. They would normally hand over to Matt and his team at 10am, but due to a schedule shakeup this weekend, the food programme had been brought forward to start 30 minutes earlier.
Heading to the Saturday Kitchen studio to discuss the show's lineup, Matt confessed they were still rehearsing. He told Naga, "Look at the mess," after she'd commented on the chaos. Host Matt appeared to be struggling to understand why they were on air at 9.
30am instead of his usual slot of 10am. Fortunately, Naga was on hand to put things right for viewers. He said: "There you go, lots going on, we'll see you at 10am," as Naga stepped in to correct his error, adding: "No you won't, you'll see us at 9.
30am." Now red-faced, the host shot back, telling Naga: "09.30am, 09.
30am, you'll see us at 09.30am," as she giggled: "Well done, Matt, thank goodness you're rehearsing there, hey," as he began to laugh hysterically at his blunder. This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated.
