The Bermuda Bicycle Association is holding a BIG Bike Sale on April 12th in Warwick. A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Bicycle Association [BBA] invites the public to its BIG Bike Sale Event on Saturday, 12 April 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Old Warwick Gas Station, 76 South Road, Warwick. “The BBA has accumulated dozens of quality road bikes, generously donated by members of Bermuda’s cycling community.

While many of these bikes are too large for the association’s youth and junior riders, they are ideal for adults looking to start or return to cycling.” “We’ve been fortunate to receive such generous support from local cyclists,” said BBA executive member Debbie Titterton Narraway. “Rather than let these bikes go unused, we’re offering them to the public at affordable prices to encourage more people to experience the benefits of cycling.

” A spokesperson added, “Bikes will be available from $200 to $300, with additional bargains on offer. Trainers and other cycling equipment will also be available. Please note: this is a cash-only sale.

“Proceeds from the event will support the BBA’s development programmes, particularly those for youth and junior riders.” “The BBA believes that finances should never be a barrier to participation,” Narraway added. “Training, equipment and racing opportunities are offered at no cost to young riders aged 13 to 18.

Events like this help make that possible.” A spokesperson added, “This sale presents a great opportunity to join Bermuda’s vibrant cycling community—whether you’re seeking a healthy lifestyle, a new hobby, or an entry into competitive racing. “The BBA extends heartfelt thanks to those who donated equipment and continues to rely on community support to make cycling accessible across the island.
