Odds are subject to change.Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt predictionsWhat is more important: results or performances? Football matches are ultimately determined by the scoreline, so 34 unconvincing victories in the Bundesliga would win you the title. In reality, though, bad performances usually catch up with you.
If a team is not playing well, results invariably turn against them at some point. And so we come to Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany’s team have played twice in the past week.
In both matches they got the result they needed. Yet Bayern’s displays against Bayer Leverkusen and Celtic have left their fans concerned for what lies ahead.Start with the Leverkusen clash.
Bayern were outplayed from start to finish. Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso was left scratching his head at the final outcome, a 0-0 draw.It was Bayern’s worst attacking performance of the season – and then some.
They took a grand total of two shots, neither of which made the goalkeeper work. At the full-time whistle their xG totalled a rather pitiful 0.05.
It was only the second time since such data began to be collected in 2004/05 that Bayern failed to register an attempt on target in a Bundesliga game. And yet a draw suited the Bavarians. Leverkusen needed to win to stay in the title race.
Instead, they remain eight points adrift of top spot, a deficit that is almost certainly too large to overturn at this stage of the campaign. Kompany, for one, was keen to focus on the positives from the 0-0 at the BayArena.“We’ve had so many games in the past where we’ve scored a lot of goals,” he said.
“Today the task was different, today it was all about defending – and we did a great job. We defended with a great mentality. We’ll take that home with us.
”Bayern drew again on Tuesday when Celtic visited the Allianz Arena. Once more, it was all that Bayern needed following their 2-1 win in the first leg of the Champions League play-off.Celtic levelled the aggregate score shortly after the hour mark in the return fixture, before Alphonso Davies broke opposition hearts with a late equaliser to prevent extra time.
Bayern achieved their ultimate goal of progressing to the round of 16, but it was not the sort of display that strikes fear into the hearts of their fellow European heavyweights. The result is not the only thing that matters.Bayern vs Eintracht Frankfurt betting tips.

Draw or Eintracht FrankfurtEintracht Frankfurt are enjoying a fine season in the Bundesliga. They sit third heading into the weekend and, with a six-point buffer above Freiburg in fifth, Frankfurt are well placed to qualify for the Champions League. They sold their top scorer Omar Marmoush to Manchester City in January, a loss which could have derailed their campaign.

The Bavarians have played poorly in their last two matches, while Harry Kane looks set to miss this game through injury.Frankfurt have what it takes to avoid defeat in Munich. Choose a draw or an Eintracht Frankfurt win at 12/5 with SBK Draw at half-timeBayern Munich never got going against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend.
In Tuesday’s meeting with Celtic, Bayern hit the ground trudging and were laboured throughout the first half.We could see something similar here, especially if Kane – a player who is directly responsible for around a third of their Bundesliga goals this term – is absent as expected.Eintracht Frankfurt have a strong record in the first half of league games.
Remarkably, Dino Toppmpller’s side have only been behind at the break once in 2024/25, and that was in a home game.Frankfurt are adept at frustrating their opponents on their travels, so Bayern will have to be patient here.Do not be surprised if there is nothing separating these two teams with 45 minutes on the clock.
Tip a draw at half-time at 19/10 with Copybet Hugo Ekitike to score any timeHugo Ekitike has stepped up to the plate since Manchester City prised Marmoush away from Eintracht Frankfurt last month.Ekitike has scored 12 Bundesliga goals this term, more than anyone but Kane, Marmoush, Tim Kleindienst, Patrik Schick and Jonathan Burkardt. Five of those strikes have come in the last five weeks.
Bayern were extremely lucky to keep a clean sheet against Bayer Leverkusen, while Celtic caused their defence plenty of problems last time out.Ekitike is a lively, fast attacker who is particularly dangerous in transition. If Frankfurt can feed him on the break, the Frenchman will make life difficult for Bayern.
