Batman, one of DC Comics' most beloved and enduring superheroes, is set to make history by becoming the first superhero to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The iconic character will be honored with his own star at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard, right in front of The Hollywood Guinness World Records Museum, on September 26. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which manages the prestigious Walk of Fame, announced that Batman 's star will be the 2,790th addition to the famous sidewalk, which celebrates significant contributions to art, entertainment, and Hollywood culture.

Michael Empric, an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records, will be present to certify Batman's historic achievement. The one, the only, Batman! Fans from around the world will be thrilled to know that Batman will have his star dedicated next to the stars of television's Batman, Adam West, and the co-creator of Batman, Bob Kane." Batman, created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, made his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 in 1939.
