Bastianini stuns Martin to take thrilling victory, Bagnaia crashes out

"Enea Bastianini stunned Jorge Martin to take a thrilling victory at the Emilia Romagna MotoGP, as Francesco Bagnaia crashed out. The Italian left it to a dramatic final lap to make his move as he overtook the championship leader Martin. There was disappointment for Bagnaia, who crashed in the 21st lap while chasing the eventual race winner."

Enea Bastianini earns Ducati's 100th victory in MotoGP on home soil after usurping Jorge Martin's lead on the final lap. Francesco Bagnaia lost the lead in a scrappy battle with Jorge Martin and his team-mate Bastianini, crashing out in the closing stages of the race in an attempt to catch up. Martin led a majority of the race, defending hard around the narrow track until his lead was viciously snatched by Bastianini.

Marc Marquez earns another podium after inheriting third place from Bagnaia, securing crucial points in the title fight. Due to Bagnaia's crash, Martin leaves Misano with 20 points ahead of the reigning champion in the title fight. More to follow.
