Basketball: Jefferson girls roll to 64-11 win over Elysian Fields

DIANA — Keinysa Wallace scored 15 points, J. Mallory added 13 and Janaa Goynes and Destiny Kelly finished with 12 points apiece and the Jefferson Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 64-11 win over Elysian Fields.

Mallory added 13 and Janaa Goynes and Destiny Kelly finished with 12 points apiece and the Jefferson Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 64-11 win over Elysian Fields. Makinah Washington finished with six points, and Kaliyah Whitaker, Jazmyne Luster and Anna Hauptman all had two.

Luster and Hauptman had six rebounds apiece, and Wallace, McNeil, Whitaker and Jade Mallory added five apiece. Goynes also had 12 assists and 11 steals to finish off a triple-double. In a 42-27 loss to Grand Saline, McNeil had seven points, Wallace six, Goynes, Whitaker and Luster four each and Kelly two.



Whitaker had eight rebounds and McNeil seven. Goynes added three assists, and Luster had three steals. Goynes had 15 points, Wallace 12, Kelly six, McNeil four and Whitaker three in a 40-27 win over the Quitman JV.

McNeil pulled down 15 rebounds, Luster eight and Wallace seven. Goyes added two assists and five steals, Kelley three steals and Wallace three assists and four steals. Jefferson : The Troup Lady Tigers built a 28-9 halftime lead on the way to a 53-30 win over the Jefferson Lady Bulldogs last week.

Keinysa Wallace paced Jefferson with 12 points. Destiny Kelly had six, Janaa Goynes and Stormi McNeil four apiece, Kaliyah Whitaker two and Jazmyne Luster and Anna Hauptman one apiece. Wallace led with eight rebounds, McNeil added five and Goynes and Whitaker had three apiece.

Wallace also had five steals, and Goynes and Whitaker had three apiece. Elysian Fields: Evie Helpenstill scored 17 points, Kenner Pylant was close behind with 16 and the Harmony Lady Eagles notched a 55-27 win over Elysian Fields last week. Helpenstill had 10 of her points in the first half, and Pylant had nine of her 16 points in the fourth quarter.

Mally Davidson added six points for the Lady Eagles. Kally Wade and Rendi Seahorn added five apiece, and Trinity Mauk, Larissa Roberts and Stormi Wheless added two apiece..
