In a close contest determined in the final seconds, East Texas Baptist University lost to LeTourneau 78-77 at Ornelas Gymnasium in the final regular-season game. Despite a strong second half, in which they outscored their opponents 48-36, ETBU could not overcome the first-half deficit. The game featured six ties and eight lead changes, and ETBU is now 6-19 and 2-6 in the American Southwest Conference.
Jason Justice led the Tigers with 34 points, shooting 10-for-23 from the field, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, and recording two steals. Colin Roberts made a significant impact with 26 points, a team-high 14 rebounds, and two blocks. Michael Roberts contributed defensively with 12 rebounds and two blocks.
