Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza has recently focused on self-care and self-growth as she tries new hobbies like cafe hopping and running.The Sparkle star first shared about her “runner era” in an Instagram post in February when she went on an early morning run with her friends and fellow actors Kristoffer Martin and Alden Richards. Since then, Barbie has been posting glimpses of her running journey, including the fun runs she joined to support different advocacies.“It made me realize that running isn't just a hobby now but a new found purpose. Barbie Forteza first shared about running in an Instagram post last February. Later that month, Barbie Forteza set a new personal record (PR) after finishing her longest run at 11 km. Barbie Forteza was joined by her friend and fellow Sparkle artist Kristoffer Martin during the run.

Barbie Forteza has consistently been running, even on weekends. Barbie Forteza shared photos after her five-kilometer uphill run in Tagaytay. Barbie Forteza joined her first fun run in April, where proceeds from the event benefited children with cancer.



Barbie Forteza went on a 10-kilometer run for Save the Children Philippines. “Honestly, there were moments when I wanted to stop but I kept thinking about why I was doing it in the first place and it pushed me to finish all 10k. Legs are tired, but my heart is full,” Barbie Forteza said in an Instagram post.

One of Barbie Forteza's recent fun runs advocated ending violence against women. She said, “Iba talaga ang push pag may pinaglalaban.”.
