A late night drinking establishment which "comes alive at the weekend" is on sale for £199,995. The Bridge Bar, a "thriving" venue located in the heart of East Grinstead, is up for grabs with property agent CoGoGo. The bar, in London Road, says it has a "profitable" business model with a "thriving" customer base and potential for growth.
According to CoGoGo, The Bridge Bar generated a turnover of £300,000, with more financial details available upon request. The bar holds a late-night licence, attracting a steady stream of patrons into the early hours. It also hosts around 20 private events a year, including birthdays, corporate events, and social gatherings.
The estate agent highlighted the potential to expand this side of the business by tapping into more event types and partnerships with businesses. A secure ten-year lease is in place.
CoGoGo pointed out several growth opportunities for the new owner. These include expanding the events programme, introducing themed nights, live music, or pop-up food events to attract new crowds. Wider drink offerings, such as new cocktail menus, craft beers, or local spirits, could boost sales and appeal to a broader range of customers.
An expanded online presence, including social media marketing and online reservations, could also increase foot traffic, especially with more people planning their nights out in advance.
