Banz hosts 19th ELC womens conference

NORTH Waghi MP Benjamin Mul has donated food to support the 19th ELC-PNG National Women’s Conference. The donation included 300 rice bags, 100 tinned fish cartons, 100 sugar bales, 100 noodles cartons, and 100 cartons of tea plus garden foods worth almost K20,000, including K15,000 in cash. The donation was received by the organising committee.

In donating the foods, Mr Mul also welcomed the mothers who travelled in from all around the country. “I have been helping churches even before I got into Parliament.” Mr Mul said the North Waghi district is fortunate in have mothers from all around the country attending the conference, and also commemorating the country’s 49th anniversary.



He pledged his commitment to support the construction of Banz Lutheran University Agriculture faculty. Mr Mul honoured his commitment last year, and presented a K223,500 cheque to ELC-PNG head Bishop Rev Dr Jack Urame on Sunday. He also made public that he has allocated K300,000 to build Nondugl Lutheran Health Centre.

The 19th ELC-PNG National Women’s Conference will end on Friday..
