Patch 8 could well become the biggest piece of content update for Baldur's Gate 3, and it has nearly 20,000 words worth of changes. In terms of word count, this isn't the biggest change log, as that honor belongs to Patch 3. That doesn't mean that you should sleep on Patch 8. After all, there are 12 new subclasses for players to explore. This will completely change how characters have worked previously, as all the subclasses have their unique abilities. While we are yet to get a confirmation about all changes (which will be available once the patch goes live), here are some of the biggest changes coming to Baldur's Gate 3.Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 8 major changesSubclassesPatch 8 will have 12 subclasses, with all of them having unique features. The features will be unlocked at a specific subclass level. While they will work in the same fashion as normal classes, subclasses will allow players to have greater customization options. Players on the same generational devices will be able to play with their friends even if they're not in the same ecosystem. This has been a much-requested feature, and I, for one, am glad that Larian has decided to include it on this patch.Photo ModeIf you worked as a games journalist, having good in-game screenshots is necessary. Sadly, the UI has been an iffy issue for me. Thankfully, the Photo Mode is also part of the patch. While it doesn't have any influence over gameplay, you can share all the interesting in-game moments with the community. This was previously possible with mods on PC, but it's far better to have the feature available officially.Once we have more information about the full patch, they will be included in this article. The post Baldur’s Gate 3 Early Patch 8 Notes – Biggest changes heading to BG3 appeared first on Destructoid.
