The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to get the win in Week 2 of the regular season against the Detroit Lions, and it was due in small part to the great play of their star quarterback. In a recent article by Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports , he lists one thing that we learned about each team in Week 2 of the regular season. For the Bucs, he thinks that Baker Mayfield is looking like an early candidate for MVP.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports "Baker Mayfield is an early season MVP candidate . Seriously! A year removed from vying for Comeback Player of the Year honors, the scrappy journeyman was lights-out as a scrambler against the Lions." Mayfield has led the Buccaneers to be one of the nine remaining undefeated teams, and this is the fourth season in a row that the Bucs have started out the season 2-0.
