DPO Asad Sarfaraz Khan directed the officers that the process of pursuing criminals and bringing them to justice should be further accelerated by using modern technology. According to a police spokesman, Bahawalpur DPO Asad Sarfaraz Khan emphasised on modern technology.

In this regard, the crackdown on criminals is underway in the district. Last month, Bahawalpur Police while continuing the series of checks through smart policing and using modern technology, took vigorous action against illegal arms owners and registered 54 cases and recovered 01 Kalashnikov, 02 rifles, 01 gun, 03 repeaters, 30 bore 43 pistols and 227 rounds from the possession of 54 arrested suspects. On this occasion, District Police Officer Asad Sarfaraz Khan issued instructions to the police officers to intensify such operations on a daily basis.



He said the use of modern technical metaphors can help stop the crime before it happens. The movement of criminals should be monitored and they should be brought to justice. He further said that the performance of the officers posted in the field is being evaluated with regard to the arrests of criminals and the relief given to the public by them.
