Bad Bunny's anticipated NPR Tiny Desk concert has arrived with fans praising the star for what he does best. The Puerto Rican star performed six songs from his new album DtMF

"Benito, hijo de Benito" appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk series. The non-profit membership media organization released the long-awaited Bad Bunny Tiny Desk concert on Monday, April 7, at noon. Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio , better known as Bad Bunny, gave it his all when he performed some of his greatest hits from his new album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS .

The album is dedicated to the island of Puerto Rico, with each song giving listeners a taste of the greatest sounds like Salsa, Bomba, Plena, old-school reggaeton, and more. In classic Bad Bunny form, he made sure to stick to his roots and represent his island during his performance. The set featured two "light blue" Puerto Rican flags, which represents the Puerto Rican independence movement – something he has spoken about throughout his career.

He also performed with his backing band LoS SOBRiNOS, Julito Gastón, Luis Irizarry, “Big Jay” Anthony, Krystal Santana, Emanuel Santana, Luis Sanz, and Fabiola Méndez. Wearing his now-signature Saint Barth/West Indies hat and a colorful BODE brand luxury “Slugger” cardigan with a vintage 1980s drawing of a baseball game in the front, Bad Bunny sang five songs – PIToRRO DE COCO, VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR, KLOuFRENS, LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii, and LA MuDANZA. The Puerto Rican star from Vega Baja smiled, laughed, and shared stories about the isla del encanto.

He took a moment to introduce LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii with some backstory on how the song came to be. The song is about how Puerto Rico has been slowly colonized and gentrified, with residents being displaced from their own land. For example, beaches that were once public have been closed to residents-only properties.

Viewers at home were left emotional and proud of Bad Bunny after his Tiny Desk performance. One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote in Spanish, "Bad Bunny's tiny desk is absolutely a work of art. The F-N Goat.

" Another person wrote, "Bad Bunny's Tiny Desk version of the move was spectacular. How nice that he lets the musicians shine like that." A third posted, "Bad Bunny's Tiny Desk will definitely go down in history.

He prioritized the instrumentation in a unique way, giving each instrument its own space and letting it play out in each song, telling a story."
