HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – Backbase, a recognized leader in Engagement Banking, will host ENGAGE Asia 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. From September 11 to 12, this event will take place at the Le Meridien Saigon hotel, establishing the city as a center of digital banking innovation. With a theme of "Banking Reinvented," the conference promises two days of in-depth discussions, groundbreaking achievements, and immersive experiences for a future-focused on customer-centric banking in the Asia Pacific region.
Transforming and Innovating Banking ENGAGE Asia 2024 will convene over 120 banking leaders, regulators, and technology advisors to discuss the transformation of digital banking to prioritize customer needs. The event's agenda includes five case studies from Techcombank, EastWest Bank, HDFC Bank, ABBANK, and OCB, highlighting how these institutions have succeeded in driving Return on Equity (ROE), accelerating innovation, enhancing personalization, and simplifying user experiences. Two CXO Asia Panels will feature insights from top banking executives, including representatives from BDO Unibank and Chinabank, focusing on improving digital engagement and designing future-ready banking services.
Focused AI Sessions Key sessions such as “Synergizing Success: Architecting AI-Powered Banking Around the Customer with Scalable Differentiation” and “Enhancing Customer Value Through AI and Automation,” presented by Greg Fahy, SVP Technology at Backbase, will explore the impact of AI technologies on customer interaction, revenue generation, and operational efficiency. These sessions aim to equip attendees with strategies to leverage AI for increasing customer lifetime value, personalized recommendations, and process optimization in a digital and data-driven environment. Distinguished Speaker Lineup ENGAGE Asia 2024 will present 18 notable speakers, including local regulators and C-level executives from prominent banks in the region.
These include participants from the State Bank of Vietnam, Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA), and leading banks across Asia like ABBANK, ACB, Bank Sinarmas, and others. The conference will also feature advisory and implementation partners such as McKinsey, SmartOSC, and Synpulse, who will share expertise on the banking industry's trajectory. Celebrating Customer Engagement Excellence The Excellence in Customer Engagement Awards 2024 will honor banks that have achieved significant digital transformation and customer engagement milestones.
This recognition celebrates innovative practices that redefine the banking landscape and inspire others within the industry. Cultural and Networking Immersions ENGAGE Asia 2024 will offer attendees an immersive experience of Vietnamese culture and hospitality. Special events are planned to promote networking and relationship-building, including opportunities to appreciate panoramic city views and a dinner cruise along the Saigon River, blending professional interaction with cultural appreciation.
