The Homeland Enforcement Lautoka team secured its second win in as many matches with a 5-3 win against Nadiin the Extra Supermarket Futsal IDC competition’s day two at the Vodafone Arena in Suva yesterday. The goals for Lautoka were scored by Zibraaz Sahib, Aporosa Yada (2), and veteran Taniela Waqa while Nadi’s goals came from Mohammed Shalmeen, Bir Khan, and Mohammed Ayman. Lautoka coach Waseem Kutty commended the team for their adherence to instructions, despite facing a tough challenge.

Kutty emphasised the team’s defensive stance during the halftime break, emphasising the importance of following instructions. “I believe we missed about five or six goals in the match but credit to the boys for their hardwork on the field,” said Kutty. “Our aim right now is just to focus on the next game and we move on.



” Lautoka takes on Lami at 6pm today. Meanwhile, in matches in the women’s division Tailevu Naitasiri edged Nasinu 2-1 while Northland Tailevu went down 2-6 against Rewa. Lautoka takes on Lami at 6pm today.
