Azerbaijani PM Congratulates His Georgian Counterpart

( MENAFN - Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. Azerbaijani PrimeMinister Ali Asadov has sent a congratulatory letter to hisGeorgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze, Trend reports. Asadov conveyed his congratulations to Kobakhidze on the victoryof the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia Party in the country'sparliamentary election, considering the victory as anotherconfirmation of the support from the friendly Georgian people forthe Political course being pursued in the country.

In the letter, he expressed confidence that the election resultswill contribute to the progress and further prosperity of Georgia,as well as foster the comprehensive development ofAzerbaijani-Georgian relations of strategic partnership based oncenturies-old traditions of friendship and good neighborlinessbetween the two peoples. To note, Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party won parliamentaryelection held on October 26, receiving more than 54 percent of thevote.
