TAPAH: Ayer Kuning’s Barisan Nasional’s candidate Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir will continue the legacy of the late assemblyman Ishsam Shahruddin. “What was planned by the late assemblyman, particularly in the field of education, will continue. “This also aligns with the hopes of our MP, where education will become a key foundation in developing an educated and high-quality society,” he told reporters after the nomination process held at Dewan Merdeka here on Saturday (April 12).
Mohamad Yusri said he and his team would work hard to ensure that their commitment would succeed and the Ayer Kuning state seat would remain under Barisan’s banner. Asked about his vision regarding issues that may require attention, he said, “We will continue to focus on needs and matters that are required from time to time in the Ayer Kuning constituency,” he said. When asked how he compared himself to the other candidates, Mohamad Yusri said everyone was the same, but he hoped Barisan would be the main choice for the voters.
