Award-winning memoirist to visit HVCC

TROY — Kao Kalia Yang, a Hmong-American writer, filmmaker and teacher, will visit Hudson Valley Community College on Wednesday, April 9, to discuss and share her award-winning books during a program that will include a Q&A and a book signing. The event, scheduled for 11 a.m.

in the BTC Auditorium on the Troy campus, is open free to the public. Advance reservations are requested at hvcc.edu/culture .
