AN award-winning burger joint has announced a two-night pop-up event in the city centre. Next month, El Perro Negro will bring two of their infamous smash burgers to The Social Hub on Candleriggs Square for a special event which will mark the hub's first ever Scottish kitchen takeover. El Perro Negro, who have a restaurant on Woodlands Road, will be serving the much-loved Oklahoma Smash and the Double Smash Cheeseburger and both come with fries.
READ NEXT: Restaurant owner calls petition to remove bagpiper mural 'nonsense' Nick Watkins and Ben McLeod (Image: Supplied) Making a rare return, the Oklahoma Smash is an indulgent double smash burger loaded with finely sliced onions, melted burger cheese, and house pickles while the Double Smash Cheeseburger is a "no-fuss, classic burger". The ticketed event will take place on Friday, April 25 and Saturday 26 and is priced at £14 per person. There will also be a an exclusive cocktail menu including a frozen Piña Colada.

"You'll have the chance to try their famous Oklahoma Smash - which is my favourite. And we'll be slinging Frozen Pina Coladas in our sun trap courtyard to wash it all down." Opened in 2019, El Perro Negro is known for its bold and flavourful creations and won the National Burger Awards' Best Burger in the UK title several times.
