The year may be inching towards its end but the excitement in the global auto market is certainly not. Looking to end 2024 on a high note, automakers have unveiled a series of new products in the market. The new launches come packed with cutting-edge technology, design upgrades and specs.

Highlights of the week include Kia Syros, Aston Martin Valhalla and Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX, among others. Check all that happened in the past week in the auto market. Kia Syros Kia India unveiled its latest sub-4-metre compact SUV, the Syros in India.



The all-new model will be positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos and is focused on offering enhanced comfort for rear-seat passengers. The company will start accepting bookings for the Syros from January 3, 2025, while the deliveries are expected to begin in early February. The Syros is likely to be priced between ₹9-15 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

It will be available in six trims—HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O)—and will be offered in eight monotone colours: Frost Blue, Glacier White Pearl, and Aurora Black Pearl. Aston Martin Valhalla Aston Martin introduced the Valhalla, its plug-in hybrid hypercar. The model, first announced in 2021, has undergone major upgrades including updates to its design, interior layout, and powertrain.

Its body structure is predominantly made of carbon fibre, ensuring a lightweight yet rigid build. The Valhalla features 20-inch wheels at the front and larger 21-inch wheels at the rear. Apart from its hybrid performance, the car also offers an EV-only driving mode.

The exclusive hybrid hypercar is priced at approximately £850,000. Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven Mercedes-Benz India unveiled its Vision One-Eleven concept car in Mumbai . The car is inspired by the legendary Mercedes-Benz C111 prototypes from the 1960s and 1970s.

The interior features chrome bucket seats and a steering wheel inspired by motorsport. It has a cutting-edge battery system featuring liquid-cooled cylindrical cells. The latest addition is the fifth concept car of the company showcased in India.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Kawasaki has expanded its lineup of powerful bikes by introducing the 2025 Ninja 1100SX sports tourer in India. The bike is offered with a starting price tag of ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Ninja 1100SX will be available in its standard version with numerous modifications over the previous iteration. The bike packs a bigger 1099 cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine replacing the 1043 cc motor. Hero XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in India, priced at ₹ 1.
