The Premier League have confirmed the referee, VAR and other officials for Brighton v Leicester City

Stuart Attwell is set for another key role in an Albion home game. The Nuneaton-based official will be on VAR duty when the Seagulls face Leicester City. Attwell was in the middle last week when Albion lost 3-0 to Aston Villa in a game dominated by VAR decisions.

On this occasion, the man who refereed Albion’s 2-2 draw at the King Power in December will be keeping tabs from Stockley Park. Darren Bond, from Lancashire, will be in the middle at the Amex. It will be his first Albion game as referee since they won 4-0 at Southampton earlier this season.

He was last at the Amex for the Carabao Cup tie with Liverpool. Bond has refereed 23 games this term, showing 83 yellow cards and three reds. Three of his last four games have been in the Championship.

DANNY WELBECK'S GOAL RECORD UNDER SCRUTINY His history with Albion includes the 1-1 draw at Aston Villa on the final day of the 2016-17 season which cost them the Championship title. Elsewhere, Anthony Taylor – who had such a busy time at Selhurst Park on Saturday – has been handed the Wolves v Tottenham clash.

The full officiating team for Albion v Leicester City is as follows. Referee: Darren Bond. Assistants: Marc Perry, Steve Meredith.
