Powered by a USB-C power supply, The Streamplayer has an analog Aux port for feeding the audio to the host device. The Atonemo approach to streaming was developed to challenge the industry norm and provide an alternative to the limitations of proprietary audio ecosystems. There are similar devices on the market from the likes of Wiim, Belkin SoundConnect and other devices that offer AirPlay or Google Cast functionality, but The Streamplayer looks as if it covers wider streaming possibilities.

Leo Ballesteros is the founder and CEO of Atonemo. He says he saw a gap in the market where speaker manufacturers who excelled in sound and design also struggled with software and streaming capabilities. “Speakers should be about sound and design; Atonemo takes care of the rest,” says Ballesteros.

“We’re here to breathe new life into all the beautiful speakers, amplifiers and systems already out there, ensuring they remain timeless while embracing modern technology.” The Atonemo Streamplayer will start shipping this spring and is priced at $99 / £99 / €99.
