Atmospheric river arrives in SoCal, bringing light rain over the next few days

Rainy weather is back this weekend, as atmospheric rivers that brought record precipitation to Northern California move south.

Topline: For L.A. and Ventura Counties: LA and Ventura Counties could see as much as an inch of rain throughout the day Saturday.

The skies are forecasted to clear up, bringing some sun before another system arrives early next week. Another inch of rain is possible Monday and Tuesday. For Orange County: The OC has less rain in the forecast, with about a 30 percent chance of showers today and early next week.



For Santa Barbara County: The rain will be heavier around the Central Coast, with as much as 1-2 inches possible Monday through early Wednesday. The backstory: The storm was responsible for two deaths in Washington and caused mudslides and road closures in Northern California..
