Atlee Wants To Work With Priyanka Chopra After Shah Rukh Khan For His Next? Here’s What We Know

Filmmaker Atlee made his Bollywood directorial debut with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer Jawan . One of the highest grossing films of 2023, the actioner had taken the internet by storm. If reports are to be believed, he has already started to work on his next project starring Pushpa 2: The Rule fame Allu Arjun.

Well, it seems like the filmmaker has set his eyes on the female lead of his upcoming untitled film. Quoting a report by TeluguCinema, Free Press Journal states that Atlee wants to approach Priyanka Chopra for his film. A post shared by Priyanka (@priyankachopra) Yes you read that right! Chopra, who is all set to make a comeback in the Indian film industry with SS Rajamouli directorial SSMB29 , starring Mahesh Babu, will be marking her Telugu debut with the film.



The media publication reports that Atlee’s film will have multiple actresses. Apparently the 38-year-old filmmaker is planning to approach Priyanka for one of the important characters. Despite the film being shot in Telugu, just like his previous films RRR and the Baahubali franchise, SSMB29 will also be a pan-Indian release. While the makers are yet to release more details about the film, fans are excited to watch Priyanka in an Indian film, after a long time. She will also be starring in Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited film Jee Le Zaraa , co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. An announcement on the film is yet to be made by the makers. She will also be reportedly seen in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming project, tentatively titled SSMB29 .
