Atishi 1,000 times better than her predecessor: LG VK Saxena in rare praise for Delhi CM

Delhi LG VK Saxena and chief minister Atishi NEW DELHI: LG VK Saxena Friday complimented chief minister Atishi , saying: “I am happy today that Delhi’s CM is a woman. I can confidently say she is a thousand times better than her predecessor.” He was addressing students of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women at the seventh con vocation ceremony.

While making the comment, LG glanced at Atishi, who was present on the dais. Atishi was sworn in as the eighth CM of Delhi in Sept following the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal, who ran AAP govt for nine and a half years. Notably, Kejriwal during his tenue as Chief Minister, was constantly at odds with LG Saxena , and the two made strong remarks against each other.
