Albion face at least one more season of trying to contend with Mo Salah. The Liverpool star has ended speculation about his future by signing a new deal through to 2027. The Egypt international’s current deal was set to expire in the summer and his new two-year contract comes with Liverpool closing in on clinching the Premier League title.

He has scored ten goals and provided six assists in 15 Premier League appearances against the Seagulls, including the winner at Anfield earlier this season. It is not clear whether the two-year deal means he remains at Liverpool until 2027 or is designed for him to be sild for a fee next summer. But he will have time to add to his record against Albion - beyond the meeting at the Amex later this term.

Salah has had a stellar season so far for Arne Slot’s men, scoring 32 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions and is the current top scorer in the Premier League with 27.
