Asus has unveiled the ROG Phone 9 series, which comprises the ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro, and ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition. These flagship gaming smartphones are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. The Pro variant includes additional mini LED dots on the rear, allowing for a more customizable matrix.

78-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Samsung AMOLED LTPO display, supporting a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and HDR10. The display also offers Always-On functionality and is capable of achieving a peak brightness of 2,500 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Internally, the ROG Phone series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition features 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, while the standard and Pro models offer a maximum of 16GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. All models incorporate the proprietary ROG GameCool 9 cooling system for effective thermal management.

For photography and videography, the Asus ROG Phone 9 series is equipped with a triple rear camera configuration, led by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size and an f/1.9 aperture, alongside a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view.

The ROG Phone 9 Pro features a 32-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom, while the standard ROG Phone 9 includes a 5-megapixel macro camera. Both the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro feature a 32-megapixel RGBW front camera with 1.4ฮผm binning technology.

This camera system is equipped with various AI capabilities, such as AI Object Sense and AI HyperClarity, among others. Both models are powered by a robust 5,800mAh battery, which supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. According to the manufacturer, the fast charging technology can fully recharge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 46 minutes.
