Asus has unveiled the ROG Phone 9 series, which comprises the ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro, and ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition. These flagship gaming smartphones are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. For photography and videography, the Asus ROG Phone 9 series is equipped with a triple rear camera configuration, led by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size and an f/1.9 aperture, alongside a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view.
The ROG Phone 9 Pro features a 32-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom, while the standard ROG Phone 9 includes a 5-megapixel macro camera. Both the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro feature a 32-megapixel RGBW front camera with 1.4ฮผm binning technology.
This camera system is equipped with various AI capabilities, such as AI Object Sense and AI HyperClarity, among others. Both models are powered by a robust 5,800mAh battery, which supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. According to the manufacturer, the fast charging technology can fully recharge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 46 minutes.
