Asus is preparing to unveil its upcoming gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 9 Pro. The device has recently been spotted in a certification listing in China, which verifies its ongoing development. Although the listing does not provide detailed information regarding the device, it does confirm that it will support 65W charging.
Its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8 Pro, also includes 65W fast charging capabilities, indicating that there may not be any improvements in charging speeds. The CQC listing lacks additional specifics; however, it is anticipated that the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor will be included, along with an advanced cooling system. The ROG Phone 8 series was introduced in January, suggesting that we may have several months of anticipation ahead, unless the company opts to release the ROG Phone 9 series sooner.
In the interim, one may refer to the specifications of the ROG Phone 8 Pro to gain insights into what its successor may offer. The ROG Phone 8 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch 165Hz LTPO Samsung E6 AMOLED display and operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, complemented by an Adreno 750 GPU.
