Despite being just 17 years of age, Wright has already accumulated 80 minutes of senior football for the League Two club. Wright's camp will be realistic that appearances for any of the aforementioned trio is remote at this stage of his development. Nevertheless, they will want to identify a pathway to the first team if he is to agree to a move in the short term, particularly when Salford are facing the prospect of another campaign in League Two.

While Salford's position with the EFL's financial regulations would substantially improve with a windfall for Wright, they may look to convince him that a first senior contract of his career and an increase in minutes is the best way to go..
