The Portuguese was announced as the Red Devils new boss earlier this month. He has been joined at Old Trafford by Barreira , who has claimed the role of physical performance coach.

He is one of five new appointments at the club after Amorim’s arrival. Barreira will not have to wait too long to be reunited with his former side. Arsenal host United at the Emirates Stadium on December 4.
