Arrangements for Republic Day celebrations at Secunderabad Parade Ground reviewed

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj asked officials to make elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of Republic Day celebrations at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on January 26. He reviewed the arrangements with senior officials including Director- General of Police Jitender, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty and other officials at Parade Ground. He underscored the need for proper coordination with the departments concerned for the successful conduct of the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Raj instructed officials to complete the leveling of the ground at the earliest and ensure cleanliness of the premises. He made it clear to officials that protocol must be maintained at any cost. He said separate barricading must be provided to earmark separate seating arrangements for the VIPs and the general public apart from ensuring continuous supply of power and water.
