Having been left disappointed by the Reds' underwhelming 1-0 home loss to Nottingham Forest, which ended their 100% winning start to their top-flight campaign, Slot got the desired response on Tuesday.
Goals from Ibrahima Konate , Virgil van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai fired Liverpool to an impressive 3-1 Champions League win over AC Milan, which sets them up perfectly for the showdown with the Cherries. Slot made two changes against Milan, with Cody Gakpo and Kostas Tsimikas replacing Andy Robertson and Luis Diaz .
