Neeraj Ghaywan’s upcoming film Homebound , starring Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, has earned a prestigious spot at the Cannes Film Festival. This marks the director’s second Cannes selection after Masaan and is notably the first-ever film from Dharma Productions to make it to the coveted lineup.

The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is set to run from May 13 to 24, 2025.

Neeraj Ghaywan’s Cannes debut came in 2015 with his breakout feature Masaan, which was also part of Un Certain Regard. That film, starring Vicky Kaushal and Richa Chadha, received global praise and won two major awards: the Special Prize and the FIPRESCI Prize. Meanwhile, Homebound marks a much-anticipated reunion for Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, coming together on screen for the first time since their debut in Dhadak seven years ago.
