Arijit Singh appeared irritated after a fan urged him to sing Aar Kobe, which has become an anthem for the Kolkata rape case protests. The singer is in the UK at the moment, hosting multiple concerts. In a video surfaced from one of his recent concerts, Arijit schooled a fan who requested he performed Aar Kobe.

He said that the concert isn’t the right place for it and urged the fan to visit Kolkata to join the protests. The Lutt Putt Gaya singer said, “They have come to here listen to me not for Protest. People are here to hear my music not to protest.

This is not the right place to say. If you wish, there are many Bengalis here, go to Kolkata and get on the road!” He quickly jumped into his performance mode and began singing Ramta Jogi from Taal. Earlier this week, a video surfaced online from his recent concert in which a fan was seen placing food on stage while he performed the title track of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. As soon as Arijit noticed it, he picked up the food and passed it off to his security team. The renowned singer apologised to the fan and said that he cannot allow food on his stage because for him, the state is a temple.

“I am sorry, this is my temple. You can’t put food here,” he said. Arijit also hosted acclaimed international singer Ed Sheeran on his show.

The duo sang Ed’s hit song, Perfect. While videos had gone viral from the concert, Arijit had also shared a post featuring photos from the concert and thanked Ed for joining him..
