Fennell had Troy Taylor caught with the third ball of his fourth over and then trapped Alistair Ifill in front with the very next delivery to reduce Cayman Islands 116/8 in their final over. The pacer then got rid of Ronald Ebanks and Alessandro Morris with the final two balls of the innings to make it four wickets in four straight deliveries en route stunning figures of 5/14.

However, Fennell's heroics could not take Argentina to victory, with the South American side all out for just 94 in reply to Cayman Islands' score of 116..
