FARGO — West Fargo scored two second-half goals to defeat Fargo North in an Eastern Dakota Conference game on Tuesday. West Fargo’s Andrew Knudsvig buried a left-footed shot inside the left post on a penalty kick in the 47th minute. The Packers’ Wendy Jean Pierre made it 2-0 with a goal in the 66th minute.

West Fargo goalkeeper Bonfas Loria hit a long goal kick that landed about 40 yards from the North goal. Jean Pierre ran down the bouncing ball, chipped it over the diving North goalie about 15 yards out and headed the ball in at the goal line. West Fargo is 7-0-3 in the EDC and 7-1-3 overall.



North is 2-5-3 in the EDC and overall. FARGO — Danik Stevens and Hayden Braun scored second-half goals and Fargo Shanley blanked Grand Forks Central on Tuesday in an EDC game. Stevens scored on an assist from Jackson Askew and Braun scored on an assist from Kaden Bennington.

Shanley goalkeeper Simon Schwind made one save. Central dropped to 0-8-2 in the EDC and 1-9-2 overall. Shanley is 2-8-0 in the EDC and 3-9-0 overall.

GRAND FORKS — Fargo South’s Luis Lemo-Bustamante scored two goals in the final 20 minutes of the game to lead Fargo South back from a two-goal deficit in a draw with Grand Forks Red River on Tuesday in an Eastern Dakota Conference game at Cushman Field. South’s Emann Mure scored the game’s first goal on a penalty kick in the 27th minute, but Red River’s Brody Andrade scored twice on penalty kicks — the first in the 32nd minute and the second in the 45th minute — to put the Roughriders up 2-1. GFRR’s Max Martens made it 3-1 with a goal in the 61st minute.

But Lemo-Bustamante scored his first goal of the game less than a minute later, then scored the tying goal in the 70th minute. South is now 5-3-2 in the EDC and 6-4-2 overall while Red River is 4-3-3 in the EDC and 6-4-3 overall. WEST FARGO — Fargo Davies scored the game’s only goal late in the second half against West Fargo Sheyenne in an Eastern Dakota Conference matchup on Tuesday at Sheyenne High School.

Davies scored with just 2:55 remaining in the game when the Eagles’ Kalec Sands took a long free kick deep in the box on the right side and headed the ball to the middle of the box. Sekou Konneh rose up and headed the ball in from about 10 yards out. Davies is now 7-2-1 in the EDC and overall.

Sheyenne fell to 5-3-2 in the EDC and 6-3-2 overall. FARGO — Fargo North needed extra points in the fourth set but prevailed over Fargo South 25-14, 23-25, 25-17, 31-29 in an Eastern Dakota Conference match on Tuesday. North’s Olivia Hammes had 11 kills and Anna Halverson had 10 kills and three blocks.

Solei Berg had 10 kills and 18 digs. Claire Carr had 24 set assists and Channing Kommer had 12 assists and 15 digs. Grace Thiel had six assists and 16 digs.

South’s Talyn Hoffert had 14 kills and Jaden Hovland finished with 11 kills. Mara Whiting had 38 set assists, Amelia Hawley had 24 digs and Abby Baukol had 13 digs. North is 2-2 in EDC points and 6-5 overall.

South is 1-3 in EDC points and 7-3 overall. WAHPETON — West Fargo Horace downed Wahpeton 25-10, 25-10, 25-8 in an Eastern Dakota Conference match on Tuesday. Horace is now 3-1 in EDC points and 8-3 overall while Wahpeton fell to 0-3 in EDC points and 1-8 overall.

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. — Fallon Passanante had 13 kills to lead Fargo Davies to a 25-21, 25-13, 25-23 victory against Devils Lake in an Eastern Dakota Conference volleyball match Tuesday.

Quinn Skari had 15 assists and five digs for the Eagles. Carly Dormanen added seven digs, five assists and two aces. Torri Fee led Devils Lake with 13 kills.

Davies improves to 4-0 in EDC points and 6-4 overall. Devils Lake falls to 0-4 in EDC points and 1-8 overall. WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne remained undefeated after a 25-15, 25-18, 16-25, 25-20 victory against West Fargo in an Eastern Dakota Conference volleyball match Tuesday.

Sheyenne improved to 3-0 in EDC points and 10-0 overall with the victory. Sheyenne's Cora Metcalf had 15 kills, Alexa Killoran had 10 kills and 16 digs and Peyton Saxlund had nine kills and two blocks. Mya Bloedow had seven kills, six blocks and seven digs.

Makayla Amundson had 29 set assists and eight digs and Marley Budeau had 20 assists and 14 digs. Aurey Morris had nine kills and Ava Halverson had six for the Packers. West Fargo is now 2-3 in EDC points and 7-5 overall.

FARGO — Fargo Shanley defeated Valley City 25-8, 25-13 and 25-19 in an Eastern Dakota Conference match on Tuesday. Valley City is 1-4 in EDC points and 8-4 overall. Shanley is now 4-0 in EDC points and 10-1 overall.

THOMPSON, N.D. — Thompson defeated Fargo Oak Grove 25-21, 19-25, 26-24, 29-27 in a non-region matchup on Tuesday.

Thompson is 3-6 overall. Oak Grove is 8-5 overall. MOORHEAD — Annie Horan had 23 kills and nine digs to lead Moorhead to a 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 30-28 victory against Detroit Lakes in a Minnesota volleyball match Tuesday.

Mady Geist had 16 kills for the Spuds and Kaityn Walthers added eight kills and six blocks. Madden Bogenreif provided 45 assists. The Spuds improved to 8-2 overall.

Detroit Lakes falls to 3-8 overall. GLYNDON — Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton defeated Hawley 25-23, 24-26, 25-17, 25-20 in a Heart O’Lakes Conference clash on Tuesday. Hawley is 2-2 in the Heart O’Lakes Conference and 9-3 overall.

DGF is 4-0 in the Heart O’Lakes Conference and 9-2 overall. MOORHEAD — Fertile-Beltrami swept Moorhead Park Christian 25-16, 25-14, 25-13 in a Pine to Prairie volleyball match Tuesday. Libby Suckert had 12 digs, one kill and two blocks for the Falcons.

Wynn Tomlinson added 11 digs and two blocks and Kaycee Endreson had four kills and six digs for Park Christian. Park Christian is now 1-1 in the PTP and 2-4 overall. Fertile-Beltrami is 1-0 in the PTP and 8-1 overall.
