WEST FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne cruised to a 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 Eastern Dakota Conference victory over Grand Forks Red River on Thursday. Sheyenne’s Alexa Killoran had 10 kills and five digs, and Mya Bloedow had six kills. Reilly Bryant had four kills and five blocks.

The Mustangs’ Brynlie Richman had 13 set assists and Marley Budeau had 12 assists. Red River is 10-6 in the EDC and 14-12 overall. Sheyenne is 14-2 in the EDC and 25-2 overall.



FARGO — Fargo Davies downed Fargo South 25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 25-18 in an Eastern Dakota Conference match on Thursday. Davies’ Fallan Passanante had 15 kills, served five aces and had six digs. Lauren Barth had nine kills and 3.

5 blocks and Ava Leingang had nine kills. Quinn Skari had nine kills and 23 set assists. Greta Bothum had 25 set assists and served two aces.

Carly Dormanen had two assists, served two aces and had 12 digs. South’s Talyn Hoffert had 18 kills and two blocks, and Abby Baukol had 11 kills and 17 digs. Mara Whiting had 34 set assists, Ruby Hawley had 11 digs and two ace serves, and Amelia Hawley had 27 digs.

South is 6-11 in the EDC and 14-12 overall. Davies is 13-2 in the EDC and 18-7 overall. WEST FARGO — West Fargo rallied from a set down to defeat Fargo North 17-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-12 in an Eastern Dakota Conference win on Thursday.

West Fargo’s Ellee McIntosh and Mya Glandt both had 12 kills. Aurey Morris had eight kills and Ava Halvorson had six kills. The Packers’ Liv Odden had 20 set assists and Harper Odden had 17 assists.

Raina Chwialkowske had three assists, served two aces and had 20 digs. North’s Solei Berg had 10 kills and 24 digs. Olivia Hammes had 10 kills and Anna Halverson had eight kills and 2.

5 blocks. Channing Kommer had 19 set assists and Claire Car had 18 assists and 10 digs. Grace Thiel served two aces and had 21 digs.

North is 7-10 in the EDC and 12-15 overall. West Fargo is 9-8 in the EDC and 16-11 overall. GRAND FORKS — Fargo Shanley set down Grand Forks Central 25-14, 25-19, 25-18 in Eastern Dakota Conference play on Thursday.

Shanley’s Katelyn Ommen had eight kills and Ella Stimpson had 20 set assists. Clara Robin served four aces and had 12 digs, Carly Hulstein had three blocks and Megan Dietz had two blocks. Shanley is 16-1 in the EDC and 22-4 overall.

Central is 6-11 in the EDC and 8-20 overall. HORACE — West Fargo Horace swept Devils Lake 25-21, 25-10, 25-6 in an Eastern Dakota Conference match on Thursday. Devils Lake’s Claire Heilman, Emma Hofstad and Kinley Johnson all had four kills.

Carmen Lindquist and Carlee Skadsem both had five assists. Devils Lake is 0-17 in the EDC and 4-19 overall. Horace is 12-4 in the EDC and 19-7 overall.

VALLEY CITY — Valley City defeated Fargo Oak Grove in a non-conference matchup on Thursday. Oak Grove is 18-11 overall. Valley City is 16-11 overall.

FARGO — North Dakota State nearly blew a two-set lead but rallied in the fifth set to knock off St. Thomas 25-21, 27-25, 26-28, 22-25, 15-12 in Summit League play on Thursday at the Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse. Ali Hinze led the Bison with 11 kills and she had 13 digs.

Arianna Blohm had 11 kills and eight blocks, and Alexis Boling had nine kills. NDSU’s Maddy Dombeck had 18 set assists, Eke Denessen had 15 assists and Eimly Bruss had 12 assists. Hinze and Ally Barth both had four blocks, and Lauren Jansen served five aces.

The Bison are 5-4 in the Summit League and 9-9 overall. They play host to Omaha at 1 p.m.
