The forthcoming Apple Vision Pro is likely to feature an M5 processor along with other internal modifications, while maintaining a design similar to the current model.

According to Bloomberg, the release is projected for late 2025 or the spring of 2026. For those interested in a lower-cost option, supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests that the introduction of such a device has been delayed until at least 2027. Kuo explained that merely producing a less expensive model would not significantly alter sales projections.

Apple is reportedly exploring the concept of "smart glasses," similar to those demonstrated by Meta. The company aims to boost interest in the Apple Vision Pro by launching a second-generation headset featuring an enhanced processor and various improvements at the beginning of the M5 chip cycle.
