It’s rumored to come in two versions, including an M4 Pro model, and will feature five USB-C ports, two conveniently located on the front. This redesign aims to shift the perception of the Mac mini from a basic option to a powerful computer in its own right.

The question remains: who will this updated Mac mini appeal to? It could be perfect for casual users looking for an affordable Mac or for those wanting to connect it to a TV. With Apple Intelligence on board, the Mac will leverage its M3 Pro and Max chips to run advanced AI applications, greatly enhancing the user experience. The flagship MacBook Pro models, 14-inch and 16-inch, are also expected to receive upgrades to the M4 processor.
