The iOS 18.1 beta introduces a notable AI editing feature designed to eliminate distractions from images. For example, if a pole or an unwanted individual appears in a photograph, the Photos app's Clean Up function can effectively address this issue.

To remove the undesired object, simply select the Clean Up icon and encircle the item you wish the AI to eliminate, ensuring that the final result appears seamless and free of any noticeable edits. The Clean Up feature is currently accessible in the iOS 18.1 beta 3 version, but it is limited to users with the iPhone 15 Pro or higher models in the United States at this time.

Additionally, users can experiment with the macOS beta and iPadOS beta versions on M1 Macs or iPads. Google first launched the Magic Editor alongside the Pixel series a few years ago, and the latest Pixel 9 series introduces enhanced Gemini AI-powered functionalities, bringing it closer to the forthcoming iPhone 16 lineup, which will incorporate AI capabilities with the iOS 18.1 update scheduled for release in October.

Meanwhile, the launch event for the iPhone 16 is imminent, with the announcement for the 2024 iPhones anticipated within the upcoming week. A recent report from Bloomberg has revealed both the launch and sale dates for the upcoming Apple event, suggesting that the iPhone 16 series will be introduced in two weeks. Furthermore, details concerning the pricing of the iPhone 16 models have emerged online.
