Apple has released an iPhone update titled iOS 18.3.2 that includes bug fixes and security features.
Although it lacks the headline AI perks included in past updates, cybersecurity experts claim it is just as crucial that iPhone users download it immediately. That’s because the new release contains a fix for an exploit that allows cybercriminals to steal user data via WebKit, the engine that powers Apple’s Safari web browser. iOS 18.

Breaking out of a sandbox allows an attacker to access data in other parts of the operating system.” Alongside the security issue, Apple said the update addresses an issue preventing playback of some streaming content. Be warned: the update also switches on Apple Intelligence by default, even if you’ve disabled the AI software to save on storage space.
