
Nigerians have been charged to remain hopeful and be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government as the socio-economic situations in the country would soon improve. Hon. Dada Eminence made the call on Sunday urging the citizens to support the government’s policies set to revamp the nation’s economy.
He noted that the policies of the President have begun to yield expected positive results, making reference to the oil refineries in Port Harcourt and Warri which have been overhauled and started production after several years. The APC chieftain stated that previous administrations had expended huge amount of money on the refineries and never worked. He assured that several other policies being implemented by the federal government would have positive impact on the economy of the nation which would invariably turnaround the living standard of the people.
According to him, “I commend Nigerians for their resilience and would still implore them to be patient with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led government on the current socio-economic challenges being faced. “There are indices to show that the policies being roles out the President are truly yielding positive results. “If we look at the oil refineries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and Warri in Delta State, it had been long both refineries produced Premium Methylated Spirit(PMS) last.
“Previous administrations had injected much money into the repair of the refineries but failed to work.” Speaking on the gradual manifestation of the CNG initiative of Mr. President, Hon.
Eminence enjoined the citizens to be patient for the successful implementation of the programme. He also noted that with the efforts being made the government, Ajaokuta Steel Company would become a steel production hub that is capable of bringing to an end importation of steel to the country. The APC chieftain, therefore, commended the president on the success recorded in the North East and North West in the fight against terrorism and banditry.
He noted that the incidents of bomb last had become a thing of the past, saying the efforts of the military and other security agencies have been impactful in the regions. Hon. Eminence said this would boost businesses in the regions as farmers and other business investors would return to their business sites without fear of being attacked.
