Note: We’re only highlighting some businesses for a walkable adventure, but each street has much more to offer.

Readers’ choice Main Street This lively Southside street covers well over three miles and features a variety of local businesses — so much so that it is home to the annual MAINx24 event.

Frazier Avenue Home to the NorthShore side of town, this block is full of local businesses — just look at the NorthShore Merchants Collective . Spend the day: Grabbing a refreshing treat | Stone Cup Cafe, Kung Fu Tea Chattanooga + Clumpies Ice Cream Co. Getting lunch | Basecamp Bar and Restaurant, Bento Ya + Taconooga Shopping | Winder Binder, Collective Clothing, Blue Skies, Locals Only Gifts & Goods, I Go Tokyo, Disco Clothier, Zi Olive on the North Shore + Verre Noir And then at night: Having dinner | Totto Sushi and Grill + Bela Lisboa Restaurant Sharing a drink | Brewhaus + Frazier Five and Dime Rossville Avenue + Boulevard These streets nearly extend all the way to the Georgia state line — for the purposes of this guide, we’re highlighting spots that start at Rossville Avenue + those between Doyle and East 38th Streets for the best walkable areas.
