Anna M. Lewandowski, 105, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at home in Storrs, CT. She was the loving wife of Walter S.
Lewandowski for 40 years until his passing in 1979. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Bartlomiej and Agnes (Gniotczynski) Magrowski. For many years, Anna was a factory worker in different Reading manufacturing industries.
Her most important role was as a wife and mother. Anna is survived by daughter, Anna M., wife of the late Stanley Bonk, of Storrs, CT; Yuko, wife of her late son, Andrew Lewandowski; grandsons: Christian Bonk of San Francisco, CA and Andrew Lewandowski (Kim) of New Haven, CT: granddaughters: Stephanie Tirado of Mansfield, CT, Jennifer Bonk of Clearwater, FL, Kathryn Bonk (John Sanchez) of Gaithersburg, MD, Maria Rushbrooke (Gary) of Roanoke, VA and Patricia Pinkerton (Keith) of Reading, PA; and brother, Frank Magrowski (Sophie) of Birdsboro.
9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her son, Andrew Lewandowski; brothers: Alex and Chester; and sisters: Mary, Lottie, Florence, and Christine. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
5153 Kutztown Road Temple, PA 19560. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 17th, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s RC Church, 250 S.
12th Street, Reading, PA 19602. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Reading.
