Angelina Jolie ’s son Knox Jolie-Pitt made a rare public appearance on Sunday, joining his famous mom for a glamorous red carpet outing. Knox, 16, escorted Angelina to the Governors Awards in Hollywood, and proudly posed beside her for the cameras. Angelina, 49, looked as stunning as always as she cuddled up to her son for the snaps.

The Oscar-winner accentuated her natural features with a slick of eyeliner and fluttery lashes, adding a pop of colour with a dusty pink lip. Angelina wore her highlighted hair loose, with the top section pulled back from her face to showcase a pair of dazzling drop earrings. Adding even more sparkle, she sported a unique geometric crystal necklace.

The star showed off her slender figure in a gold and cream sheath gown, with the thin straps revealing the tattoos on her arms and chest. Knox smiled happily beside Angelina, with the rarely-seen teen looking very grown up in black tie. He sported a classic black tux, paired with a bow tie and perfectly shined shoes.

Alongside his smart outfit, Knox debuted a short buzz cut, alongside a short moustache. Angelina shares Knox with her ex-husband Brad Pitt , 60, from whom she got divorced in 2019. The exes share six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and Knox and his twin sister Vivienne.

While Knox stepped out with his mum, however, Brad’s relationships with some of his kids seem to be going through a rough patch. Of he and Angelina’s six children, three have decided to drop his surname and just go by "Jolie." Their oldest daughter Zahara seemed to start the trend, introducing herself as just Zahara Jolie in 2023.

Knox’s twin Vivienne soon followed suit, alongside Shiloh. Shiloh’s lawyer gave a statement after it was revealed that she planned to officially drop the last name "Pitt" once she turned 18, suggesting that "painful events" prompted her to leave her dad’s name behind. "The media should be more careful in their reporting, especially when covering a young adult who has made an independent and significant decision following painful events and is merely following legal process," lawyer Peter Levine said.

Alongside Brad’s fractured relationships with his kids, he and Angelina are still battling out the ongoing drama since they first separated in 2016. The couple has been caught in a major dispute over their French vineyard, Chateau Miravel winery, for years. While the vineyard once served as their wedding venue, it’s currently the cause of a turf war between the actors.

The duo is reportedly set to head back to court over the idyllic estate - which they bought for £21.3 million - next year. Despite their family feud, however, Brad has found new love with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon, 34.

The couple went public earlier this summer, and have reportedly been dating for a couple of years. While Brad is openly flaunting his new romance, a pal of Angelina’s recently shot down rumours that she has a new flame of her own. The actress has frequently been seen with British rapper Akala, 40, but an insider spoke up to claim that the pair are just friends.
