Among some of the many viral online discussions surrounding the former LSU star forward, nicknamed the " Bayou Barbie ," is that she is living above her means in Chicago after she joked about the price of her rent when compared to the starting salary she earned during her first season on the Chicago Sky WNBA team. Critics offered financial advice to Reese after her comments, including "It Is What It Is" co-host Cam'ron, the legendary rapper and founding member of popular rap group Dipset. But Reese wasn't serious.
She said her rent was "above her means" in a joking tone because she's been a millionaire since she was a student-athlete at LSU. "They love this. They meet Beyoncé, they're going to meet Jay-Z, all my friends eat. One thing about me is I have a really good circle around me, and I think that's really important.
